One: Layout features
The modular UPS and room-level air conditioners are both external, and the cold aisle only includes IT cabinets.
2. Relying on the overall cooling environment of the computer room, the cold aisle may be simplified or the closed design may be eliminated.
Two: Advantages
1. Convenient maintenance: All key equipment (UPS, air conditioners) is centrally managed, and the response to faults is fast.
2. Low cost: No need to customize a sealed structure, suitable for standardized deployment.
3. Flexible deployment: Quick setup, suitable for temporary or mobile data centers.
Three: Disadvantages
1. Low energy efficiency: Cold and hot air flows are prone to mixing, resulting in a relatively high PUE (possibly >1.8).
2. Poor scalability: It is difficult to support high-density loads and redundant space needs to be reserved.
Four: Applicable Scenarios
1. Small and medium-sized computer rooms with limited budgets (such as educational institutions and start-ups).
2. Low-density (<5kW/ cabinet) or temporary demands (such as disaster recovery centers, exhibition IT support).
