A Micro Module refers to an independent operating unit that takes several functional cabinets such as IT cabinets, power supply units, and air conditioning terminal units as the basic unit, and includes functions such as networking, cabling, monitoring, and fire protection. All components within this module can be prefabricated in the factory, flexibly disassembled and transported, and quickly assembled on site for use. The micro-module can be rapidly deployed and put into use as an independent small data center, achieving decoupling from the computer room environment.

The micro-module computer room divides the data center site into micro-modules in accordance with industry standards, that is, it divides the entire data center into several independent areas, and the scale, power load, configuration, etc. of each area are all designed in accordance with unified standards. In a true micro-module data center, the cooling, power supply and management systems should all be regionalized. The micro-modules should not interfere with each other, operate independently and have no shared parts. Micro-modules bring a series of advantages to data centers. The nested integration of the physical infrastructure of data centers can easily address the challenges brought about by power supply, fire protection, monitoring, management, operation and maintenance, and capacity expansion. It includes functional modules such as UPS power supply, power distribution, cabinets, monitoring and wiring systems, and is suitable for small and medium-sized data centers, branch computer rooms, centralized managed distributed computer rooms, and growth-oriented modular data centers in industries such as government, education, healthcare, manufacturing, finance, energy, and communication.
